Happy Hell Night (1991) Review

Happy Hell Night (1991) synopsis: “A fraternity-hazing prank goes terribly wrong and a psychotic killer is set loose. Now a relentless evil has been unleashed, and the coeds of Winfield College will face the bloody horror of HAPPY HELL NIGHT.”

Starring: Nick Gregory, Frank John Hughes, Laura Carney, and Darren McGavin
Director: Brian Owens

This week on Podcasting After Dark, Zak and Corey review Happy Hell Night! Starring a young Sam Rockwell in his second role after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…well, “starring” might be overstating it a bit. Sam Rockwell has about 30 seconds of screen time and Darren McGavin has maybe twice that lol!

Don’t worry, though. You’re not watching Happy Hell Night for Sam Rockwell and Darren McGavin. You’re watching it for the nudity, sex, and violence! And the for the main antagonist, Malius. He’s the real star of the movie with his jet black eyes and creepy voice! Malius is truly an A-list villain in an otherwise cheesy B-movie slasher.
