Michael Mann's The Keep (1983) Review
The Keep (1983) synopsis: “Nazis are forced to turn to a Jewish historian for help in battling the ancient demon they have inadvertently freed from its prison.”
Starring: Scott Glenn, Ian McKellen, Alberta Watson, Jürgen Prochnow, and Gabriel Byrne
Director: Michael Mann
A massively flawed film (thanks to studio interference) yet still very enjoyable (due to a fantastic Tangerine Dream score), Michael Mann’s The Keep (1983) is the very definition of “cult film!” And it’s a movie that both Zak and Corey wanted to cover since Podcasting After Dark’s inception but limited availability made that difficult until now (thanks to DiabolikDVD)!
